The Belianske Tatras are a mountain range of the Eastern Tatras in the northwest of eastern Slovakia. The highest peak is Havran with a height of 2,151.5 m above sea level. m.
Belianske Tatry is a continuous 14 km long limestone ridge. They have a different geological base (limestones and dolomites) than the High Tatras and thus a different overall appearance and shape. A wide saddle (1825m) divides the Belianske Tatras into two parts.
BELIANSKE TATRAS
For the western part, the peaks Muráň (1889m), Havran (2151m) and Ždiarska vidla (2141m) are typical. The eastern part is characterized by a slightly undulating ridge with the highest peak Hlúpy (2061m).
